With a free-will donation, you'll receive a custom license plate sticker to display your commitment to the park. Any donation is appreciated, but $20 is our suggested contribution.
South Dakota drivers must have an "emblem" license plate to display the sticker. You can request an emblem plate from your county treasurer's office at no additional fee when you register or renew a vehicle.

New Visitor Center
Every year, millions from around the world come to immerse themselves in the magic of the Badlands and connect with its unique cultural and geological history. To properly honor both the Badlands and its guests, the BNPC is leading an effort to replace the existing visitor center with a space that delivers the awe-inspiring educational experiences visitors deserve.
As the entryway to the park, the new visitor center will offer expanded space, modern amenities, and enhanced opportunities for education, interpretation, and engagement. It will also more effectively educate visitors about the Badlands' dark sky viewing opportunities, its unique paleontology, tribal partnerships, and more.
Currently, $____ of our $16,000,000 goal is already secured—but there's still work to be done. By supporting Badlands National Park Conservancy, you help advance our mission to protect and preserve the park, leaving visitors with a deeper understanding and appreciation of its rich heritage and natural wonders.

Future Goals
Promote our Darksky certification through astronomy events and marketing.
Help Badlands National Park supply staff housing due to the park's remote location.
Foster awareness, increase educational programming, and advance scientific research for paleontology preservation.
Fund trail restoration and maintenance to conserve the Badlands' natural beauty, protect delicate ecosystems, ensure visitor safety, and promote sustainable tourism.
